Getting stuff done when you’re a single girl who lives alone doesn’t have to be difficult. You can get everything done, with time to spare, and feel very smug about it! How? Let’s take a look at some different things you can do:
Make a Rota
If you have a lot of things to do throughout the day, one thing you can do is make a rota. This is where you’ll do different chores on different days, depending on how you decide to split them up. This means that rather than leaving everything until it gets out of control and trying to do it all at once, you’ll have a plan you can really stick to. You can put daily chores on there like washing up, and then chores you only have to do once a week say, like deep clean the bathroom. The more you stick to it, the quicker and easier it’ll be.
Create a Timetable for the Day
If you have a long day ahead of you, then create your own timetable for the day. Include absolutely everything in this timetable, so you know you’re going to have enough time to finish everything. For example, get up at 7am, breakfast by 7.15, shower by 7.30, etc. Sticking to your time limits will mean you won’t dilly dally or procrastinate, and you’ll have a really productive day.

Switch off Facebook
Social media can be a huge distraction, but you’re not missing anything when you aren’t logged on. People spend a scary amount of time on social media each day. If you aim to turn off facebook for at least a couple of days, you’ll get so much more done. Don’t do it compulsively and mindlessly, like most people do. You could lose track of time by just sitting there and scrolling for hours on end!
Hire Someone to Help
If you’re seriously busy, why not hire somebody to help you? You could have somebody come and deep clean your home once a week or fortnightly. Usually, cleaners only charge £10 an hour, so depending on how messy you let it get you shouldn’t spend too much. You can even get dry cleaner delivery on your clothes. Plus the time you have on your hands extra will be all worth it!
Get Food Prepped in Advance
You’ve got to keep yourself healthy, so buying a ready made pasta pot from the shop won’t cut it. Get your food prepped in advance and you’ll be able to stay on track. Try cooking some of your meals a few days before and keeping them in tupperware containers. You could even simply chop up the ingredients to save time.
Get a Cat
You’d be surprised at how much a cat snoozing next to you can boost your focus. I’m not just saying it because all single girl’s should become crazy cat ladies!
See? Single girl’s don’t have to suffer too much just because they are going it alone. When you have everything done, make sure you take time to relax!
