Cultivating Curves

If you look at the likes of Kim Kardashian and Dita Von Teese with nothing but envy because they have that beautiful hourglass figure that you’ve always wanted. Forget the green-eyed monster because it is perfectly possible for you to cultivate similar curves.

What your body currently looks like will dictate what you need to do to get the perfect curvy figure of your dreams, but here are some tips that will help you along the way:

Cut Excess Weight

The difference between being curvy and being overweight might be a small one for many people, and it is perfectly possible to be both overweight and traditionally curvy, but if you want to look your best and really accentuate any curves you have, you first need to lose any excess weight. If you just want to lose weight, aim to do cardio at least three times a week for at least 45 minutes at a time to burn fat all over. If, however, you want to hold on to some fat, so that it can help you with your curves, keep cardio to 2 days a week and make it something gentle like walking.

Eat a Healthy Balanced Diet

Fad diets don’t build attractive curves, and neither does a diet steeped in junk food, which means that you need to eat a healthy balanced diet, including all of the major food groups if you want to be curvy rather than skinny or overweight. Limit your sugar intake and try not to eat too many saturated fats, but other than that, as long as you aren’t eating too many calories, there is no need to restrict your diet too much.

Increase Muscle Mass

Kim Kardashian and Marilyn Monroe might be known for their curves, but they were not soft and flabby. Both women are so idolized because they managed to cultivate a body that was both toned and curvy at the same time. If you want to look the same, you really need to start doing bodyweight exercises. Just two or three 30 minute sessions per week should be enough to ensure your arms, legs, and tummy are toned, while not getting rid of any curves you currently have. The great thing about bodyweight exercises is that you can use them, along with glutimax butt enhancement cream, to build your butt and make it both bigger and rounder. This is an important part of getting the hourglass figure that so many men and women find so attractive.

Smaller Waist

Of course, there is no point making your butt bigger if your waist is too wide. That’s why you will need to target your waist as much as possible. Exercises like hula hooping, crunches and sit-ups might help you to tighten your waist, but if they don’t, you could always try waist-training, using professional corsets. It’s not the most comfortable way to reduce your waist though, so be warned that you will feel uncomfortable.

In order to have any success with waist training, you will need to wear the tightest corset you can cope with and keep tightening it as your waist gets smaller. You will probably go through multiple corsets to get where you want to be. It’s much easier and better for your health to just bite the bullet and work out.

A Bigger Bust

For the hourglass figure to really work, not only do you have to have a smaller waist and bigger butt – you also need to have a noticeable bust. Luckily, you can use simple strength training to make your bust area look larger. Doing this in conjunction with breast lifting creams and these breast lifting exercises should be enough to give you the shape you want. You just might have to wait a while until you see any major improvements.

Swing a Kettlebell

Too few women currently utilize kettlebells within their workouts, which is such a shame because they are one of the best tools for losing weight, toning up and creating an hourglass figure. The kettlebell swing will work just about every muscle in your body, reduce weight evenly over the body and build up your glutes for a more impressive but. It’ll also tone your arms, legs, and shoulders, which is vital for the perfect hourglass figure look. So, but the biggest kettlebell you can manage and swing it for 15-20 minutes at least three times per week.

Build Up Your Body

If you’re a really slim gal with not an ounce of fat on you, it might be that you need to add some extra weight if you want to cultivate curves. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean you can pig out, but it does mean you can eat an extra 200-300 calories a day of healthy foods like chicken, whole grains, and fruits. This will give you more to work with when you exercise your way to a curvier shape.

The Right Clothes

Of course, once you’ve cultivated those curves, if you don’t dress to accentuate them, you might find that no one really notices all of the hard work you’ve put in. For instance, if you wear baggy or ill-fitting clothes, you could be an amorphous blob underneath for all anyone knows. The best way to dress for an hourglass figure is with form-fitting dresses and jeans, which are the perfect fit – not too tight and not too loose – this is the best way to show the world what you’ve got.

Build Confidence

I’ve shown you a few things that you can do to increase your curviness quota and follow in the footsteps of Kim, Marilyn, and Kelly, but what is even more important that what you eat, how you exercise and how you dress is how you feel. It doesn’t matter how curvy your figure is or how hot you look if you don’t feel it. If you feel shy and retiring, you’re never going to make the kind of impact those curvy girls did, so take the time to appreciate all the hard work you’ve put in and focus on the good things about your body, instead of the bits you don’t like. Not only will this make you more attractive, but more importantly, it will make you feel better within yourself, too.
