Drastic Moves to Boost Your Self-Confidence

Improving your self-confidence isn’t usually something you can do quickly. It’s something you have to work on if you want to achieve your goals. However, there are some ways you can try to push yourself or do something drastic to try and change the way you think and feel.

Throw Yourself in at the Deep-end

If you feel like you lack confidence, you might find it hard to do things like make new friends or speak in public. If you think you’re up for it, why not try to dive right in and try something that scares you? You could join a debating group or sign up to a talent show or open mic night.

Do Something Crazy

In a similar vein, you could do something spontaneous and adrenaline-inducing. Do a skydive or go bungee jumping to give yourself a thrill. Even if you don’t like it in the end, the fact that you went through with it should give you a huge confidence boost.

Give Yourself a Full Makeover

Making yourself look great on the outside can really make you feel good on the inside. If you feel like you need a change, try giving yourself a full makeover with a haircut, a new wardrobe or maybe even a piercing or tattoo.

Get Cosmetic Surgery

If you want to take the above one step further, some people find that cosmetic surgery makes them much more confident. If you’re insecure about one part of your body, it can be a good idea. But there are some things to consider, such as the recovery period.
