Everyone needs lighting in their home, but have you ever really thought about it other than when it starts to get dark, and you need to switch the lights on? If you want to improve the look of your home, it might be your lighting that you should look to first. Simply changing the bulbs that you have can make all the difference.
There are ‘blue’ hued bulbs and ‘yellow’ hued bulbs available to buy, and it might be that you are currently using the type that doesn’t suit your home. Blue lights are brighter, whiter, and some would say harsher. Yellow lights are more mellow and warm, but they aren’t as bright. What would work best in your home?
Whilst changing the bulbs, you might also want to change the light fittings they are attached to. Simple lampshades will suit some homes and some personalities, but with so much choice available and so many different styles – some are huge, some hang down, some are tiny and look petite and gorgeous – it’s always worth browsing to make sure you have what you want and need.
Tidy The Garden
Whilst you have been concentrating on the inside of your home, what has happened to the garden?
